Captain Bruce Hummel has a United States Certified Coast Guard Master Captain License. He is a member of the United States Power and Sail Squadron and has served as commander and educational officer. Captain Bruce has also taught several navigation classes including piloting, advanced piloting and junior navigation. He has been sailing the Great Lakes for 10 years and his license allows him to captain a 50 ton vessel. He has sailed the Caribbean and the British Virgin Islands.First mate, Marcia Hummel is a member of the United States Power and Sail Squadron and has served as their Executive Officer. She has received a certificate in boat smart, seamanship, piloting, advanced piloting and junior navigation. She has been sailing for 10 years and has past experience as a power boater.
